Entry Categories:

​​Drawing & Painting

  • Includes oil painting, tempera, mixed media, acrylic, pastel, water-colour, ink wash, drawing (including pencil, charcoal, pen), printmaking, and composite materials. There are no restrictions on the theme or artistic form of entries.

World Art (Folk Art)

  • Strives to maintain traditional local folk art techniques and artistic forms, with room for innovative expression. Aimed at promoting the exchange and communication of world folk art and preserving and developing traditional folk art.

After the evaluation, renowned artists will be invited to conduct various online masterclasses and interactive art lectures on different themes in December 2024. Every participant can attend for free. During the masterclasses, detailed critiques of the competition works will be provided, along with sharing current global trends in visual arts, professional settings, overseas higher art education, the art market, exhibitions, and other topics. We strive to provide a broader collaborative learning platform for young artists and art educators.

  • Artistic Creation (3 sessions)

After the evaluation, the artists from the jury will provide individual critiques of the award-winning works and those selected for the exhibition, accompanied by a signed critique certificate. During the masterclass sessions, they will analyze the works, highlight their strengths, and offer professional suggestions for improvement.

  • Art Study Abroad and Careers (1 session)

We will invite university art teachers, professional education planning advisors, and other experts to discuss topics such as the current curriculum, trends in Western art education, and studying art abroad. They will share their insights and engage in interactive Q&A sessions with you.

  • Cross-Cultural Exploration (1 session)

We will invite young artists from renowned art schools around the world to share their artistic experiences and learning journeys, providing insights into the latest trends and cutting-edge practices in contemporary art education.

INT'L YOUTH ART EXHIBITION

The awards ceremony for the festival's top winners will be held at the 2025 Master Camp in England

  • Certificate of exhibition participation

  • Signed recommendation letter from the Festival Committee

  • Special feature in ACC academic magazine

  • Online exhibition participation

  • For artworks selected for the annual art exhibition, in addition to the Jury Awards, each artwork must pay a participation fee of 300 CAD. This fee covers curation, local transportation within Canada, installation, insurance, and other related expenses.

  • Artworks from mainland China will be centrally arranged by the organizing committee, covering sea freight costs.
